Galbladder removed during pregnancy?

Question:
When I was 5 months prego, I had to have my galbladder removed. Afterwards i didn't feel any different. But as soon as my son was born every time I would eat, I'd get an upset stomach. It's been 3 months now and it's no better. I've heard that this could happen in people without galbladders. But i was wondering why it didn't start until after the pregnancy was over. Anyone else go through this?

Answers:
i think u need to talk to ur doctor. this could be normal since u said people w/o gallblatters have that but he may have a med that will help. just to be sure make an appointment.
Yes. I had my daughter in October and on Thanksgiving I started having horrible pains. I couldn't walk or talk, just lay on the floor in pain. I was lactose intolerant (allergic to dairy products- diarrhea) long before I ever got pregnant. I had my gallbladder taken out in January and the doc said that I would be able to eat and drink dairy products again without any problems. It took 6 months for that to happen. I am much better now.
