Been on a healthy diet=No peroid since May 20th. ??

Question:
Ok. So, I missed 2 periods so far, and my doctor thinks I should gain weight while I'm OVERWEIGHT 15 LBS. I have been dieting

for more than a year to lose 30 LBS and I'm still half way. My

diet is a balanced one and healthy. So what do you think I

should do? I don't wanna gain fat as my doctor suggest to get

my period back? Anyone has experience please answer me.

Answers:
I would see your gynecologist to see if you have any underlying female health issues.

Maybe you should change your birth control pill if you are taking them.

I certainly understand your frustration with trying to loose weight in a healthy way, being successful, and being told to gain weight.

Are you sure that you are 15 lbs overweight? There are many people that they are overweight and aren't.

You can get a second medical opinion.
Maybe you're pregnant?
just enjoy not having it for a while x)
We are all different & I would like to know what kind of healthy "diet" you are eating.
it is always the best idea to follow your health care providers advice, as much schooling about biology and other issues, you are most unlikely to be even aware of, follow his/her advice for optimum health!
