i had a baby 5 months ago and i recently started back on the mini pill but the thing is i have took a period lasting over a week. i was on the mini pill before i was pregnant and didnt take periods at all so i was wondering why i have them this time round.

your body is adjusting to the hormones again, you stopped them so now you will have to adjust to them , and give your body at least three months to normalize. If it still happens, maybe you should change your pill and go to your obgyn.
