I think I have an illness in my vagina.?

Itching, a grayish discharge, and a fishy odor are symptoms of bacterial vaginosis. See this topic:

It will often clear up on its own, but some lingering cases require an antibiotic. YOU SHOULD TELL YOUR MOM. Tell your mom, "Mom, I need to go to the doctor because I'm miserable. I hurt. I itch. I need help." You should NOT jump to any conclusions and treat it at home with an over-the-counter yeast-infection medication without seeing a doctor first, because if it ISN'T a yeast infection, treating for one will mask your true symptoms and make it harder for your doctor to help you. You are too young to make assumptions about this - a doctor needs to diagnose you.
Edit to add: You never mentioned having sex, so I don't know why Katie jumped on the "your pregnant" band-wagon right off the bat. Your stomach could be bloated because of gas, because of retained fluid, because of an underlying uterine infection... any number of things. And a grayish discharge is NOT a symptom of pregnancy.
P.S.: You are a minor. A parent must accompany you to the doctor because a doctor will not treat you without a parent's signature. You can't go with a friend or sibling. TELL YOUR MOM.
Grey discharge, itching, pain, and a fishy smell are all symptoms of a yeast infection, which anyone of any age can get. You need to go to a doctor to confirm that this is what it is, so you need to tell your mom.
Just approach your mom and say "Mom, I need you to make me a doctor's appointment, I think I have a yeast infection", and leave it at that. Your mother is a woman and has probably had many a yeast infection before and will understand.
EDIT: Unlike what Katie said, those symptoms do NOT mean you are pregnant.
hey, i've had difficulty talking to my mom about stuff like that too. you don't have to tell her that you think it's a vaginal infection (leave that to the doctors to decide), but you should tell her that you think you need to see a doctor about it. If you haven't already, tell her that it's uncomfortable and itchy, and that you're also having pains. that will convince her immediately that you need to go to the doctor. infections can cause some serious problems if you don't get them cleared up quickly, so make sure you do this soon! vaginal infections are very normal, so there's nothing you did wrong or anything.
get into the doctor! good luck!
ok well i just read everyone eles and they said they think its a yeast infection but i have never heard of getting grey discharge...i have had a yeast infection before and u just discharge a lot and its really itchy.if you have not had sex then it probably is a yeast infection and if it is i recomend the pills that you insert into yourself rather then a cream because it feels wet and i think it just makes it worse...the pills look like little soap balls lol and they dissolve once inside and is a lot more comfortable.if you have had sex though then you could be pregnant bc i have read that signs of pregnancy are bloating and "GREYISH" discharge and irregular period and you have all three of those.usually you dont get sharp pains from yeast infections...atleast i didnt i just was itchy and uncomfortable down there...you need to go see a doctor asap and if you have a sibling or a freind you would feel more comfortable going with rather then your parent then i would do that!!
best of luck and hope your feeling better
Vaginal yeast infection (yeast vaginitis) and vulvitis cause symptoms that are nonspecific, which means that aside from the yeast infection, other conditions can cause the identical symptoms. The most common symptom of a vaginal yeast infection is itching in the vaginal and/or vulvar area. Other symptoms of vaginal yeast infection and vulvitis include:
* burning,
* soreness,
* pain during intercourse and/or urination, and
* vaginal discharge. Vaginal discharge is not always present, but when it occurs, the discharge is odorless and typically has a whitish, thick appearance and texture, like cottage cheese.
Vulvitis can also cause local pain in addition ot the above symptoms. Pain in the vulvar area is referred to as vulvodynia.
In up to 5% of women, yeast vulvovaginitis may cause a recurrent problem. A recurrent yeast infection occurs when a woman has four or more infections in one year that are not related to antibiotic use. Recurrent yeast infections may be related to an underlying medical condition and may require more aggressive treatment.
It sounds like you have a yeast infection you need to trust your mom and tell her so she can take you to the doctor or you can go to your local pharmacy and buy yeast infection kits and dont think am a mom am 18 and i have always trust my mom in that area dont be afraid just tell her you were scared but now you are more scared and you have have vaginal discharge but it not clear and it smells k dont worry your mom is not going to be mad take care and good luck
A grey discharge and a fishy smell are signs of bacterial vaginosis. It's an overgrowth of the 'bad' bacteria in your vagina. Normally there is a lot of good bacteria and a little bad but right now the balance is off.
Ask your mom to make you a doctor's appointment. If you're too embarrassed to tell her why just tell her it's personal. If you tell her she'll understand though and she'll be able to explain to you what the doctor will do. You might even feel more comfortable having her in the room with you when you go to the doctors. Sometimes it can be hard getting up the nerve to talk to our mom's about these things but the more you do it, the easier it gets.
