Women, what's it like having a PAP smear?
Question:
Answers:
doesnt hurt. but it is uncomfortable
It's uncomfortable. But it's necessary for good health, so it's something that you've just got to "grin and bear".
EDIT: When did I ever say it was arousing? Oh, I didn't.
I read in a Glamour article that some men think this must be arousing for women. If you are thinking that is the case, it's not true. It's a bit uncomfortable, physically.
Try pouring ice over your penis just before you are about to ejaculate.
I don't think it's uncomfortable at all.
I guess it varies.
I have to say I do not like my Pap alot. although my doc is really really good. it tends to hurt if you're not relaxed. Your gf can ask that a smaller speculum be used if that would help. Tell her not to skip though- those check ups are important.
I guess the closest a guy could come to understanding would be like a prostate exam only face up.
It's not very comfortable. Not only is the pap itself uncomfortable and sometimes painful but it's not very comfortable for someone to look at you and stick their fingers in you either.
well having a steel object inserted, then having your inside scraped is arousing then I am lost for words
awful in the sense you lose your dignity and they are uncomfortable
when u go for a prostate check u will kinda understand hon
they never are arousing. it is uncomfortable and usually cold in the room. then you get a doctor to come in and ask you questions and open your legs, scoot your buttocks down on the chair. they tell you to relax but its not comfortable at all. they stick a metal like pryor in you and its cold. sounds like a horrible experience but its over before you know it, doctor swabs your cervix and inside your vagina. then they remove the prying thing. and you get dressed.
sorry if i put it too graphic but that s pretty much what happens
I've never been sexually traumatized, but I guess I'm just super sensitive... My doctor makes me take muscel relaxers before I go! Also, you get a pap smear, they take a part of your tissue and it hurts! That's just me personally, I was told they're not supposed to hurt, just be uncomfortable.
It's annoying and uncomfortable. And the position you are in for the test, makes some women feel very vulnerable.
I'll "believe" you that you are a gentle man, so I will give you this video.
