Ovarian cyst?
Question:

It gets really bad. I have reoccuring cysts. I had that same problem... for months on end I had this terrible pain in my side, around my hip area. It sometimes would be both sides, or one. Then I went to the hospital because I was getting really sick in my evening class at college and it turned out to be an ovarian cyst. This thing was about as big as a half dollar (around). And it caused me so much pain. They said to see an ob-gyn about it. And I went to the clinic and they said to take birth control pills to manage your cycle so it's regular and lessens the chances of getting cysts. Unless they are huge there's nothing to worry about. I have seen pictures of cysts online that were as big as grapefruits. Talk about gross! Some people never even know they have them. I suggest going to the Gyno and maybe trying birth control pills unless you're against them, like I am. Try a small dosage of pain reliever. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you. I am just so used to the pain it doesn't bother me as much anymore.
i've known a few women that had a cyst rupture and they all said the pain was excrutiating!
You poor poor thing. Yes, cysts are very painful and can even cause death. I don't want to be dramatic, but that is what my doctor told me, because I didn't go to the hospital like you did. The upset stomach is caused because when the cysts bursts the fluid that is released gets into the intestines or stomach. If you are still experiencing pain it is because you may have another one (smaller perhaps), or you're going through ovulation and the pain from the other one is making that area tender. Grab a heating pad, Motrin and take care of yourself. You will get better.
i had a strangulated ovarian cyst and i would rather go through child birth than that i was nearly on the floor doubled up with pain and for many months after they operated on it.hope you are well now or on the road to recovery.
