Urinary tract infection/alcohol?

How long should I wait after a urinary tract infection to drink alcohol? I go to the doctor, and I finished my three day prescription today. She told me to avoid drinking alcohol, but didn't utter for how long. How long should I wait? It be only a lower UTI (not surrounded by the kidneys).

Answers:    It might be a good model to call the pharmacist that packed your antibiotic prescription to see how long the antibiotic stays in your system... I know that Levaquin, for example, stays contained by your body for 3 days after you're done taking the pills.... so, therefore, it would be a biddable idea not to drink for another 3 days....
Drinking alcohol will dehydrate you.

Theoretically you should not be drinking alcohol while you are on the antibiotics - although in that are some antibiotics you can get away near.
wait another morning or two, and then moderately...Drinking can BE the basis of this you know...very intricate on your bladder and kidneys.
