I have been on the pills for 3 months and still had my periods,i have cloudy sticky discharge.what cld it be?

Question:
i have not had sex for the past 4 months

Answers:
Sometimes breakthrough bleeding (which is bleeding that acts like a period but isn't) can be as a result of the body not being able to handle the amount of hormone in the brand of birth control pills you are using. I've had this happen to me several times.

As for the sticky discharge that could have something to do with the medication as well because it can make the discharge thicker in the effort to try and prevent pregnancy.

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
