Whats wrong with me? (female problem)?
Question:
Well about two days ago i thought i had started my period
but to my surprise it was a dark brown and Im used to just blood other then when i am about to get off of my period then its a dark brown but never when i start.
and its still dark brown and its not a heavy flow
no blood even two days later
but im still having cramps
I don't understand whats going on can some one please help me

You are young so your periods are probably still irregular. That has happened to me before too. My period always starts out with the dark brown. Your period may come back full force in the next day or 2 so be ready for it. Its not likely that you are pregnant if thats what you're worried about. You did start your period, but just to be sure and so you can stop worrying you should get a home pregnancy test. You can get one at the drug store for about $8. Don't be embarrassed to buy one, you'll feel relieved after you take it. So go get one today! And be careful with your sexual activity. You are so young, you have plenty of time to be sexually active. Just enjoy being a kid right now. Sex just complicates your life.
Have you seen a gyno yet cuz the minute you become sexually active you should get a pap.
Tell your mom to take you to a gyno.
During the end of my period, I sometimes have dark brown discharge that is just old blood. I've never had it the way you described.

I'm not a doctor, but I'd like to tell you that during puberty lots of weird hormonal things happen to your body. This, along with stress, can make your periods pretty haywire sometimes (skipping periods, odd flows, etc). BUT, since you are sexually active, you should definitely see a gynecologist regularly for checkups. And this way, you can always stay ahead of serious problems too.. like cervical cancer or STDs. Then, if anything weird happens to your period, just a quick call to your gyno can reassure you!
Are you using birth control? You could have been pregnant but are just having a miscarriage. A lot of woman who are pregnant for those first 2 weeks the pregnancy terminates on its own (miscarriage) by the start of the next period. If you were sexually active 2 weeks ago and didn't use a reliable for of BC then you could have gotten pregnant. The 14th day after the start of your last period is usually the most fertile time for women.
So that could be what is happening. Dk brown is still blood it is just older blood. If you are concerned you really should go to a health nurse or doctor and have a pg test done and have things checked out. Dk brown could also be a sign of an infection.
Life is full of choices and with those choices comes other decisions and choices that have to be made. You are 15 yrs old and I was 15 once too and the last thing on my mind was the possibility of becoming pregnant. Protect yourself because there isn't anyone out there who is going to do this for you. Just because someone is interested in getting some from you doesn’t mean they have your best interest at heart. And if he is your same age or so..you both have a LOT to learn..Everything in life really is a choice kudos to you for being actively concisions in making one of those choices. Now go see a health care specialist.
the dark brown color could be from your last period, old blood that didn't come last time
Your freaking out for nothing really. All periods are different and you are still young. You have alot of unusual stuff coming your way. Don't worry!
There is probably no cause for concern. Brown blood is just old blood. As soon as you start to have your period it will be irregular for a while until you develop a routine. You should see a gynecologist, every one should when they think about having sex. Even if you are not, they can help you with other things such as your period. Cramping and no bleeding is common. I would wait a little while and see what happens. Don't worry, you will be OK.
