Birth control combonation?
Question:
Answers:
IUD, female condom, spermicide, tubal ligation (permanent)
It is a good idea to use more than 1 birth control method since NONE are 100% effective
Your best bet with a male condom is to use plenty of WATER-BASED lubricant. Some lubricants are spermicidal, but women can have adverse reactions to the chemical in spermicide. I'd say just stick to a plain, waterbased lubricant (KY, Astroglide, etc..just make sure the bottle says SAFE FOR CONDOM USE/WATER BASED!) When a condom is well lubricated (inside and outside), there is less friction and less of chance of tearing and/or breaking during sex.
There are condoms available with spermicide right on them. There are also other spermicide products available - just look at the store near the pregnancy tests.
You can also try avoiding sex during your fertile times by tracking your cycle. There are many methods out there for this - one that is very easy is CyclesPage.com. I will caution you though that this isn't 100% effective because every woman's cycle is different!
