Whats Wrong With This Cycle... ?

Question:
Usually my period had started being like seven days. The first 2 days just spotting and very painful and the other 5 days is like medium bleeding. This time it was spotting painful(about a 6) the first day. Then the other 4 days were cloggy with medium to light bleeding. Finally, the last day,it lasted only a few hours with very light bleeding then stopped. Today, its just spotting. What could make my period so un normal this cycle? Could it be pregnancy? Or something else? Whats going on?

Answers:
Your period may change due to a different diet, stress, weather...there are so many factors. Depends on your age, too. If you are approaching menopause, then what you are experiencing is normal. Talk to your OBGYN, there are too many factors that may be causing it. Pregnancy/miscarriage could also be the cause. Take a pregnancy test if you are unsure.
If there is a chance of being pregnant you could be having a miscarriage wich can be dangerous if left unchecked. Id suggest you go to your doctor as soon as you can just in case. Most periods should not be chucky especially. They call those blood clots and they are usually a sign of miscarriage or worse.
Your period will change during different periods of life. You wouldn't have your period if you were pregnant, so you don't have to worry about that. If you were spotting consistently for weeks at a time, then I would be concerned. Refer to your gynocologist or physician if you can't find any other answers.
