i think they're cool. since i was 5 i actually wanted to be a nez perce lol! i still do too. i kno almost every thing about them. i even kno some of the language. Me, Im a chinese American who dreams to live in the past where indians roamd America with no pilgrams in site!
i also think that we drove them out and it was WRONG! i think that we should've cept ourselves to our own country instead of killing them for land. now all we have are little reservation centers that to me look like dumps.
i *heart* indians. myand my friend wrote a book in 5th grade, i'm in 8th now. its called, The Chosen One. a little fantasy, and a lot of facts lol!
i also love their clothing they made,and still do, with porcupine needles and shells, and sometimes with little glass blue bead that french traders brought over.
Indians are so cool

They are simply people just like everybody else. No better and no worse than the next person.

I don't know any personally. I think it is very sad that in the old days the new settlers didn't make friends with them and respect them - they just came in and took over.
I think that the white man missed out on an opportunity and we will never know what that could have been like.

People are people, there is good and bad in all groups, but some are really great folks. After all their relatives before them were put through, after all that most deal with still today...they are one tough group. I'm sure they will have descendants one day who will be thanking them for all that they fought for so that they could know a better world.
