After discharge, when do you get your period?

Question:
I am 11 and have had discharge heavily for about a week. When will I have my period?

Answers:
Is this your first time having discharge?
A girl will usually get her period 6 months to 2 years after starting to have discharge.
in about a week
Discharge starts when you ovulate. your period starts about 14 days after that.

Of coursem=, if you are 14. and havn't had you r period yet it could be up to six months.
It could come anytime now. It could be tomorrow or a couple years from now! Discharge is normal, wear panty liners, you will feel a lot more comfortable.
I never had any discharge before my first period. But most of my friends did and they got their first periods about 6-9 months later. Your pediatrician should be able to say with some level of accuracy when you'll get it.

Regards.
