Anyone else on the NuvaRing and had these issues?

Question:
I started on NuvaRing 3 months ago as a recommendation by my OBGYN after being on the three month pill for 3 years. Last month, I had a very short period on the Ring (maybe 3 days). This month, I was supposed to start and am now 5 days late. I took a pregnancy test and the results were inconclusive. So, I went in for a blood test today (my OBGYn wanted to be on the safe side). I have no symptoms of a period and no symptoms I am pregnant. Has anyone else moved from a pill onto the Ring and experienced weird period patterns. Also, as a side note, my periods on the pill were very regular.

Answers:
I had problems but I had to opposite, I had a period for a month straight and when I pulled out the Nuvaring that is when it went away. I never used it again.
Yes, I've had the same problem. My second month on NuvaRing my period completely stopped for the next 3 months. I was scared that I could be pregnant so I did the pregnancy test and spoke to my GYN. She assured me it was okay and that I may not have a period while using NuvaRing. I really liked it but I had to stop using it due to other problems about a year later.
I was on the pill for about a year and a half to two years, and i had to stop taking that because it gave me high blood pressure, and massive weight gain, i switched to nuva ring, and had my period on time, and usually my period is about 3-4 days long...it could just be your hormones or stress, i know thinking about it can delay it because then your stressing...I hear it takes a while for a person's body to get used to a new birthcontrol...
