NuvaRing Question..HELP!?
Question:

There was a similar question a few weeks ago, it verified my thoughts. NuvaRing is placed for your body to absorb hormones and medication to prevent pregnancy in 3 separate ways. Since it is constantly absorbing into your system you may remove during the period you are having sex, although as a safety, I wouldn't leave it out for several hours or a whole day. My husband did not seem to be bothered by the NuvaRing ( I asked) and so I do not remove mine. Either way enjoy your reunion with your husband and tell him thank you for being one of our brave servicemen. And thank you for being a great wife and worrying about these little things for your husband's sake (I have a feeling he wouldn't care what was going on up there, just glad to see and be with you.), your devotion as a soldier's wife is also applauded.
you won't feel it when you have sex. He may but it won't be a big deal. Just push it in as far as it will go and you will be fine - it won't fall out or anything. Don't take it out for sex - only take it out when you are removing it for that week of your period. And if for some reason it comes out during sex (it's happened to me before), it's ok. Just put it back in. As long as it isn't out for like 3 hours or anything, you will be fine.
I don't know about the NuvaRing, but I'd definitely call your doctor. Maybe he or she can help you put it in or show you how to do it.
