Period problem?

Question:
ok I am 12 and my period started befor I school started in a day and now its late for 3 months what should I do to make it come I am sooo worried because I am new at this period thing

Answers:
It is normal for a period to not be regular, especially at a young age.You have to wait and I would advise you to keep pads or tampons handy until you get it again.just in case it comes unexpectedly.

It could also be bacause you have not been eating the right foods.your period does not come if you are not eating right.so you might want to talk to your doctor.
Assuming you have not had sex and could not be pregnant, I wouldn't worry about it. Once you start your period for the first time, it can take your body a few months to regulate itself.
Sometimes that happens...it may have been a "fluke" type thing...
its normal for a girl to have very irregular periods when she is just starting to get them. It may take a while for your body to regulate. Let nature take its course or talk to your doctor.
it is ok. My friend had the same problem. It took 5 months for it to come again. Your boby is just getting used to it.
Okay, from what I read when I stole my friend's Puberty packet, it says that when it started, it might not come back for awhile.
When you're new to having periods, your body sometimes skips a period or two. It takes some time to get things regulated for lots of women; it's not always a cut-and-dried process. Presuming you are healthy otherwise, and are not sexually active, just give your body a chance to go at its own speed, and after a while they will generally regulate themselves. If this is causing you problems or pain, then it might be a good idea to see a doctor; sometimes a bit of hormone therapy for a few months is all it takes to get things happening on a regular basis.
Don't worry it's normal some people don't get it again for a year! Plus it's good that you don't have it in the summer...more swimming!
It will be very irregular at first, and may take even years to start being normal. Just keep pads/tampons stocked in your backpack or locker. Good luck!
Don't freak out, your body is still adjusting to the whole period thing.

You'll be fine. If it doesn't come this month, talk to your mom and maybe have her take you to a gynecologist.
Don't worry i had my for the first time then missed a month it will come again
it is nornmal to have irregular period when you first have it. do not rush it.
When you first get your period, it can be irregular for the first year or so. You might have just had a bit of spotting, brown-red dry spots on your panties. Sometimes that comes early. Don't worry about it not coming right now, enjoy the time!
