Normal height?

Question:
what's the normal heght for my cuz? she turned ten last march and she is goin int2 sixth grade. she is 4'9'' and every1 is taller than her in her grade. what is the normal height for her and is she normal or 2 short?

Answers:
She'll grow. Just sorta depends on your family genes, like if her parents are taller, then she'll grow to around their height. Like me, until 8th grade, i was one of the shortest 5'1 or 5'2. Then over the summer i started to eat ALOT more. and i just had a growth spurt i guess, and now im going into grade 11, im like 5'7", just time. Plus another thing that depends is when they had thier first period. Later the period, the more time to grow.
why does it matter?
she's still growing.
give her about 10 more years and she'll prolly be done growing.
There is no such thing as a "normal" height. Everyone grows at different times. She's perfectly normal.
I'm sure she's absolutely fine for her age, and just because she's short now doesn't mean in a few years she won't spring up. I definatly wouldn't worry about it for a while.
I taught 6th grade and I'd have to say, most of the girls in that grade are about 5'2 or 5'1 as an average height. I'm teaching 4th grade and most of the girls are around 4'8.
A normal height is depend ant on many factors, one is parental height and also ancestral height, etc, infinitum. There is no normal height! Just normal for each person.
Ten year old girl 4'9" sound normal. just because a person is not tall doesn't mean that they are not normal. She is probably ok
