When do internal stiches heal after the birth of your baby?

Question:

My son was born 4 weeks and 3 days ago. I needed only 2 internal stiches after the birth of him. How long will it take for them to heal? Or have they already healed? Can I have sex again now or is it mandatory to wait the full 6 weeks? And why if so?

if they are internal then they will dissolve when your healed but i would wait but if you are not in pain then you could try but use protection because you are really fertile right now and can become pregnant again very easily.

They should be healed by now. You can have sex before the 6 weeks but it can be painful. I'm telling you by experience, so better to wait a little more.

wait the 6 weeks to insure you don't reopen, the stitches should have already dissolved, be creative sex does not always mean intercourse, and it can be fun!
