Playtex sells Slim Fits specially for girls who are using tampons for the first time. They are smaller and less intimidating. Remember to relax because if you tense up while you are inserting it, you will be uncomfortable. If none of those things help, try putting a little Vaseline on the tampon applicator which will help it go in easily.
Tampax pearls! They are better because they slide in easier and you can get them in a smaller more comfortable size. Make sure you change the tampon frequently. God Bless
make sure that you are wearing the regular tampons because they are smaller! also make sure that you are applying them correctly because they aren't suppost to hurt. but it is normal so feel some discomfort!
I use and LOVE the Keeper (available at thekeeper.com and natural food stores). It is a cup that you insert and it catches the flow instead of absorbing it. It comes in 2 different sizes. You can wear it up to 12 hours safely. I have never had any leakage problems. I have gone swimming, no problems!! It does take a little getting used to but once you do it is outstanding!
I recommend it to all my friends. They are a little expensive but you only need to buy them every 10 years or so and they are easy to clean. Check out the website anyway!!
