Girls only... period help!?

Question:
Ok im on my second period and im only 13. my first one was light and only 5 days. so far this time its been heavy and about 7 days. before it started (after 32 days) i had cramps which i didn't have before.
is this normal?
i know they start of irregular but i'm confused!

Answers:
dont worry your period only started so its going to be all over the place for a lil while,u mightnt even get your next one for another few months, thats how messed up it can get....yes cramps are normal before and into the period time..
your period will gradually get better and will develop into a pattern later so it will be much easier for you to cope and to give u an idea of when your next period will be......good luck and dont worry..

ps always carry a few pads or tampons with you if your just new to this whole period thing as your period can come anytime..
its normal
your 13 and you said this is your 2nd period
they will be irregular for at least a year.
its completly normal
yup! Totally normal! When you're young, they are likely to be all over the map. In a few years(sooner if you're lucky) they will become more regular.
Don't be worried about it. A lot can make it irregular. It changes so often when you only had it 2 times.
totally normal. Itll get heavier as you have it, trust. Dont freak, its perfectly normal.

It is normal..
Yes..Very normal :] Good Luck♄
Yes you are normal, there is cramping that can happen before a period starts, I get them all the time, sometimes I do and sometimes I don't...don't worry you are VERY NORMAL...as for the heavy bleeding that is normal too...good luck...
Normal, normal, and normal. Give your period 6-12 months to get all the hormones figured out. In the meantime, keep some Midol on hand, in case you get cramps again. Good luck, hon!! :)
Totally normal hun. When I first got mine they were 3 whole months apart! By the time I was 17 they had gotten pretty regular, but now they aren't. They say that it may not be regular until your 20s. That seems like forever I know.
Also if your periods are really heavy, still irregular after a year or two, or you cramp really bad, ask your mom about birth control. I know it may be a scary topic or thought even but it can help. Both my mom and I were put on it for just a few months to help fix us. My friend jsut went on it for pain.
But you'll be fine. And like the other lady said, always carry pads or tampons with you. I can't tell you how many times I've been caught at school trying to explain what I need to the teacher without saying the "p word" haha Good luck dear. Welcome to woman-hood!
