High odor with morning urine, 16 months pregnant?

Question:
There is usually, but not always, a TERRIBLE odor with my first morning urine. I consulted my OBGYN- and he checked for UTI, other infections, STD's, etc. I'm totally clear in that department. i thought that maybe the pregnancy hormones were doing it but I thought that the problem should be getting better not worse. I'm 16 months into a normal pregnancy, and I'm 20 years old. He suggested to try monistat, which i did, but no changes. Also, there is no burning or itching or anything like that. I can't be dehydrated... and I don't take prenatal vitamins b/c I can't stomach them- instead I take 2 flinstones vitamins plus a folic acid supplement (Dr. OKed this.)
What could be going on?

Thanks,
Whit

You are SIXTEEN MONTHS pregnant?!?!

I'm speechless!
you might be one of those people who are really acidic when you wake up, i am too, i have a strong urine smell and my stomach feels queasy, just make sure you drink a lot of water in the morning, its just built up toxins
The first one is there is no way in hell you could be 16 months pregnant...unless you are some kind of weird mutant or an alien!
a few things...I'm not sure how you can be 16 months pregnant unless you have the gestational period of a pachyderm. Either way, sometimes an increase in the intake in iron causes highly odiferous urine. A lot of multivitamins contain iron and this might be the cause. Also if you find that you are losing fat, when the body is in ketosis, the urine tends to also have a pungent odor.
First you can't be 16 months pregnant...maybe 16 weeks is what you meant? Second are you drinking enough fluids? Water is the best, your urine gets concentrated like that if your dehydrated. it could just be hormones too concentrating overnight.
Do you mean 16 weeks pregnant? It depends on what the odor is. Often things you eat will give your urine an odor. It may be the vitamins. If the urine odor is "metallic" it might be caused by the iron in the vitamins. Your body will discard whatever vitamins it doesn't need into your urine or bm.
If it smells very sweet there is a chance it could be gestational diabetes which you will be automatically tested for at 20 months.

It can also be the vitamins that always tends to give urine a very pungent smell. First morning urine is always the most potent so that is when it is most noticable. Try drinking alot of water and that should dilute it some but since your doctor tested for proteins and UTI and it was all negative you should be fine.
16 months pregnant? i know the longest period of pregnancy is 9 months. Am i wrong?
How the hell can you be SIXTEEN MONTHS PREGNANT.The max is like EIGHT MONTHS or somewhere around that. You probally got STD.Might wanna get tested again.
