My moms vein in her finger popped...?
So, a vein in her finger popped. She didn't do anything..it just kinda..popped(lol..sorry.) But, should she get it checked out? Is it serious? Or is it sumthin that'll pass in a few days?? ...shes freakin out. (it was kinda funny tho...)

Mine do that a lot. It can be kind of painful and get sore for a day or two, but it will pass. Tell her to soak it in some warm water and Epson salts for the soreness and try not to bend it too much. It will be fine, she'll just be able to feel her heartbeat in it really well for a day or so! Feel better soon MOM!

that happened to me about 10 yrs ago when I was in the middle of class. It didn't hurt, I just felt a small pain and looked down and my vein was now visible and now it was dark red instead of blueish green. I didn't do anything about it, and I'm fine but I am interested to see what others say on this topic. Oh by the way, the vein in my finger is still dark red, and visible but it doesnt hurt, and I had completely forgotten about it until I read your question LOL! So from my point of view, you mom will be fine, but I'm not a qualified professional, I'm just a girl on her laptop trying to pass some time. Anywho, I hope this helps :)

Your question made me cringe! I think she should get it checked out at least. I wouldn't freak out about it there are lots of reasons it could have happened.
