There's no one answer here, really. Some women just trim or shave a portion, others remove the whole shebang (which, when done with wax, is called the Brazilian wax, as you mentioned).
In terms of age...I personally think that waxing speaks towards an extreme self-consciousness of the body that many women struggle against for their whole lives. If I were a mother, I know I'd strongly advocate against it.
That said, this is a personal issue and calls for a personal decision, whether at thirteen or thirty. The most important thing to know is that it's a decision that will require a lot of upkeep in the future, so be sure before making a hasty decision.

13 is a bit young for this kind of thing but if you feel uncomfortable with public hair in that region I suggest you speak with your parent an maybe visit a hair removal centre and have it done probaly..don't attack with a razor will cause complication later down the line..
shaving down there is not good because your at high risk for bacteria to have access there. There is reason they are there.

I think at that stage of age is so young to think about even triming. I believe her focus should be in school. If its a purpose of cleansing or a problem with a disease then go for it. Not for anything else.

I started shaving as soon as I noticed it, so I think it is okay for someone your age to do it. What is inappropriate, is if you start wanting to shave in designs and stuff like that. I would imagine that only sexually active women do that because they want to excite their partner. So, yes it is okay to shave for cleanliness at your age, but don't get creative and only leave a landing strip... You are too young for that. : )

my mom told me you can shave it when the hair coes out but you should shave your hands and legs hair what your period starts.
whatever your comfortable doing its totally fine and a personal choice..go for it
