Question:
i'm 15 and have been having periods for 3 years. in august of last year i decided i wanted to lose weight. i was 194. i never used to exercise much and i started doing ddr and later went to a gym. i started eating a lot different and now i'm about 140 a year later. but now i have been having problems with my period and i had one may 14, skipped june, and had one july 1st. now i still don't have a period. i'm no longer trying to lose weight and i don't exercise quite as hard. i look thinner then 140 but healthy. i feel good, i'm not anorexic i eat normally. but why are my periods not normal? birth control is out of the question i'm too young, and my doctor wouldn't do that. i don't have a normal cycle.
Answers:
IT could be because you lost all of the weight. Sometimes when you are heavy you could have irregular periods. Have your parents take you to your doctor to see what may be going on.
dont worry about it.
i used to have uneven weight issues.
i would be 99 lbs one day then back to 95lbs.
this was a year ago.
now i am gaining weight && my period seems to be on track. i weigh 110 now but then i went on a diet && i had a late period this month.
i guess it is weight isseues && no your not pregnant if you miss a period
First of all, congratulations on your weight loss. I think your irregular periods are due to the drastic change of lifestyle. It may take a bit of time for your body to get adjusted.
