Answers:
Any ingestion by a child should of course have resulted in a call for direct medical advice. I would be worried if I felt any parent had not felt the need to do this automatically. If you have already done this, and are just looking for more reassurance I apologise.

The pill has relatively low toxicity, a female child may well experience a little PV bleeding due to to hormone withdrawal a day or so after ingestion, but there are no long term issues.
You need to ask your pharmacist this question and also talk to poison control.
she won't get pregnant?
it shouldnt have any effect other than nausea but fone nhs direct if your in the uk or ask your doc or pharmasist just to make sure.
You should keep pills out of reach of minors, but You probably know that now.
If your wife won't tell you, why don't YOU phone the medical help line - or better still, why hasn't the doctor been contacted ! ! !
I think she should be ok, My little brother ate a pack of my mams birth control pills when he was young and he seems to have turned out ok!

Well he aint got pregnamt yet!
You need to take the child to casualty or a/e.
If it is a girl she may have some vaginal bleeding
