Question:

Can you buy oral contraceptives or other hormonal medicine without the prescriptions in your country?? But please answer only if you know for sure. Maybe you also know whether it is allowed keep such medicine while crossing the boarder. After your answer please write the country, where you live. THANK YOU

In Canada, you cannot buy oral contraceptives without a prescription. However, it is perfectly legal to carry birth control pills across the border.

You can get the morning pill in some pharmacies without a persciption but becuse it is "immoral" most places wont do it. A emergencies room doctor can give it to you immediatly tho, they have it at the hospitals. I dont kno about the boarders tho!

USA

In the US, you need to have a prescription for birth control. And you can take it over the border with you. I haven't ever really thought about it, but I have travelled internationally and, of course, take my bc with me. It has never been an issue.
