no, not wierd at all. the first time i ever tried to insert a tampon i couldnt find mine either, and then i gave up trying for a long time because i was waaaay to embarrased to ask anyone about it. it is kinda hidden and not large enough at all when you are still a virgin. honestly, i never used tampons until i wasnt a virgin (or at least been fingered). i know, wierd, but that way the tampon didnt hurt when i put it in. hope this helped to know that you are def not alone!! :)
Well you should find the hole but it takes some time to get used to it and you have to practice exaclty what spot is comfortable for you to insert it into.
ask your mom or older sister or another trusted female adult for help. and if your a first time tampon user then thats nothing to be embarrassed about.
no, if you push around with the tampon you'll find it. you just gotta look, and when you find it push, it might hurt a little if your cherry hasnt been popped, but it shouldnt be that bad.
its a small area down there, shouldnt be hard to find.
its directly under the clitoris, if you follow that down your sure to find it. =]

Explore your body without worrying about the tampon (use your fingers). A hand mirror may help. Once you really know your way around, then try the tampon again. You can even find the right spot with one hand, then use the other hand to replace your finger with the tampon.
You need to get to know your own body. Go grab a mirror and have a look. Pull back your labia and the big hole you see is your vagina. If you have good lighting or grab a flashlight you should see your hymen (if you still have one) around your vaginal opening. The hymen makes the vaginal opening a little smaller but it should still be big enough to put a tampon through. Just above your vaginal opening and below your clitoris you will see your urethral opening. The urethra is a very tiny hole, some girls get worried they'll accidentally insert the tampon into the wrong hole but as you'll see it would be impossible.
It usually takes a few tries inserting tampons before you get it right. Make sure you are relaxed and have the right angle (toward the small of your back). Try when your flow is heavy as it will make it easier as will using a tampon with a plastic applicator.

Virgins not suppose to use tampons.I am not saying it's a bad thing.I hate tampons but other people love them.You not really open yet just use sanitary napkins.
