Can the uterus get bruised from outside pressure on the lower pelvis/abdomen?

Question:
Say, if you are pressed against something hard for quite a while? My lower pelvis area seems brusied and also hurts internally.

Answers:
In theory, yes, external pressure could cause internal bruising. It's more likely that the soreness is concentrated in your deep pelvic muscles instead of any internal organs. Take some ibprofuen or use hot/cold packs to ease the pain.
No. Your uterus can not be bruised. It's highly impossible. The pain will go away in about an hour. Just take some Advil or other pain medicine you have.
See your doctor. Yes, you can get internal damage from being hit, falling, or bumping something.
It is possible that to cause internal bruising from external pressure.

If the pain persists for 2 days, or if it gets much worse in intensity, and is unrelieved by medication, then it is time to see the doctor.

This can be a sign of pelvic inflammatory disease (seen with HPV infections usually) but is not the only cause, don't freak out. I just have to put it out there to cover my butt!
