okay so i really want to use a tampon but i don't know how any advise? Are they painful? Do they Hert? Do they really work? what one works best for a heavy flow?

read the little paper that comes in the box, it tells of several ways to do it. They dont hurt at all, they work GREAT! Depends on your size before you know what size fits you well. Try the smallest size, first, then go up.
I only wear a pad after I have a baby. I can't understand why anyone would want to sit around with a huge pad stuck to them, feeling it all the time, feeling the blood come out, ugh!
Tampons, you dont feel any of that junk. Just gotta be sure to change it every 3-4 hours or so, or you will leak.
Go get some, its the best thing ever, if there is a best thing about a period.
yes they hurt.. haha. well they can hurt if you are crazy and like shove them in no matter once (had that experience- not pleasant). They work, but if its hecka heavy it can still leak out the sides..
can't you ask your mom or sister or older friend.
