Answers:
There is a supplement you can buy called acidophilus, I'm lactose intolerant as well and I take this on a daily basis, the brand I use is Rexall and you can purchase it at your local Wal*Mart.
You can buy it in pill form at the health food store, usually in the refrigerator section, but I think they're on the shelf as well.
I hope this helps.
Take care.

There are tablets containing the acidophillus bacteria. Also, there are prescriptions available to reduce or eliminate your lactose intolerence.
Have you seen your MD?
I suggest all natural Optiflora. It's a two product system which includes Probiotic (Bifidus & Acidophilus...microflora) + Prebiotic (FOS...food source for microflora). It guarantees delivery of 500 million live microflora to the intestines. It's safe for all ages - infants to seniors with no side effects and does not require refrigeration.
Hope this is helpful and feel free to contact me with questions.
You can try the non lactose, soy type. They have it at health food stores, and sometimes at the local grocery.
most people who are lactose intolerant can actually eat yogurt. have you tried?
