When should I start taking birth control again? (Stopped for 2 Weeks)?

Question:
I had a problem with my Yaz birth control perscription, and I didn't have my next month's set of birth control by the end of my last pack. So I had to stop taking it for about 2 weeks.
Now I have the pills again, but when do I start taking them again?
I don't remember when my last period ended, but it was apprx. 2 weeks ago.
Should I wait 2 more weeks?

Answers:
Wait until you get your next period, then you can either start taking them on the first day of your period, or the Sunday after your period starts. And remember to use your back up birth control method until you have been through a full cycle of the pills.
You start on the first sunday of your next period.
You can start them right away as long as you are sure that your aren't pregnant. You will be protected after the seventh consecutive day of taking the active pills, and you will have your next period when you get to the sugar pills.
