There's nothing you can do unless you're on birth control. And tampons are awesome. Just read the instructions on the box and try it out. I promise it doesn't hurt. Are you on the pill? If so, skip the placebos and move on to the new pack. One time doing this isn't going to kill.

Get out and do things (sports, running, jumping). Being physically active makes the bleeding go faster and therefore will shorten the length of your period. Hope this helps!
There is no way to make it lighter or end faster. If you want to use a tampon just follow the directions as they are a breeze to use.
Birth control pills.tampons u just push it inside.And also in water u cant blead ,in water nothing comes down.
I know certain birth controls can shorten and even stop it. I tend to think don't mess with nature. Let it go as it's your natural cycle and what your body wants/needs to do. Using a tampon is easy. REad the instructions that come with them and you'll have no problem.
