Plz answer this but girls only i doubt any boy would know about this stuff...?

Question:
What do you do to tey and ignore the fact that you have a pad in your panties? I'm going through my second period ever, they're SO ANNOYING!! Can an experienced period-profesional give me advice on how to make this expeirience more comfortable, if possible?

Answers:
When I first started my period I wore pads, and I used to think, "Man, I bet my regular underwear are going to feel great when I dont have to wear a pad anymore." You think about it because you can feel it, when you move, sit, stand, you can feel it. SO, if you have to wear a pad and are unsure yet, or not comfortable with tampons, then try to get thinner pads, and also some with wings. The wings will wrap around your underwear so that it doesnt come up and irritate your leg. If you want to try tampons, you can get samples from most websites, try playtex.com, and try it. It gives you simple, easy to follow directions, or ask your mom. Either way, get comfortable with something because you have several more years! Best of luck girl!
Switch to tampons if they're that annoying or switch to the thin ones. But don't wear tampons to bed, get pads for overnight wear.
Try a thinner pad or tampons. Other than that you just have to get used to it. Sometimes I feel like we're born with diappers, move to pads and then diapers again when we get old. It stinks
I never thought about it. I guess you would have to be semi-conscious of the fact your wearing a pad so that you remember to change it. Try wearing a smaller one if it bugs you that much. I use tampons now anyway.
Just don't think about it, you have years of it ahead of you. Yes, it is annoying, but be assured you are protected from an accident (most times). Use a smaller sized pad, one to conform to your figure. Eventually you might want to use tampons, but give yourself time before you try; start with a small one then work up in size until you find one comfortable for you. Just take it easy, you will be doing other activities and your mind won't have to stray to that area. If you don't talk about it, either, then out of sight, out of mind.
You could try tampons, although because you have only just started it may not be practical. Talk to your Mom about it. Or switch makes of pads, have you tried alway? I always find that they are comfortable.
In all honesty you get use to. Once you've been wearing them for years, you don't think about it. If it's bothering you that much you might try a thinner pad or as others suggested tampons.
When i had my first period tampons scared me. And i was like that for a while. Try a thinner pad. That should help. Periods suck, especially after you've had them for a while!
