Just Started Clindesse (BV Infection)?

Question:
Hello , I've been having vaginal problems for nearly 2 years.
The doctors I went to before were testing me for STD's and everything but I was ok . I 've been having unbeliable vaginal dryness at the age of 25...So I went to a new doctor and she told me that I have cronic BV. She gave me Clindesse to use once a week for a month. I just started using it 3 days ago and I still have white creamy discharge (I suppose it's the medicine ) inside of me , when I put my finger inside it's still there even though it's been 3 days that I put the medicine in.. I wonder is it how it supposed to be or am I having a bad reaction?
Thanks a lot

Hi curious g, you need know, that bacterial vaginosis is an abnormal vaginal condition that is most often recognized by a fishy vaginal discharge.Current research has determined it is an imbalance of natural vaginal bacteria that causes bacterial vaginosis. The problem is it is not possible to determine which bacteria is out of balance. Consequently, locating the offending bacteria and eradicating it is not a solution.

Yes, the most common treatment for bacterial vaginosis is antibiotics. Usually, one course of treatment is successful. A small percentage of women will experience recurrent symptoms within a month. Consequently, a second course of antibiotics will be prescribed. The Clindesse (clindamycin phosphate) Vaginal Cream, 2% - is an antibiotic.

You need know that taking antibiotics to cure this problem will almost absolutely cause another problem, yeast infection. This is why more and more women are seeking natural, herbal remedies for this problem. With the antibiotics, you are trading one problem for another, more difficult, problem.
