I just started my period?

Question:

I just started my period this morning and it is a dark brown color. My last pap smear (2 months ago) was normal, and I haven't done anything new or different since then. Is this a normal occurence?

That is just old blood. Completely normal. ALOT of women get it at the beginning (or end) of their periods.

this is completly normal, when the period first starts, its a dark colour, and as you get older and have more and more, they get lighter
