Please help i am worried...(about the feminine visitor)?

my mom keeps talking about it and talking about it
and i really haven't even had any cramps or anything
so i am really worried is it normal to still not have it at this age when my mom got it earlier? cause i heard it's normal to not get it until you are about 16
but what happens if i don't get my period?

you will get your period when your body is ready. it is normal to have your period up to the age of 18. if it hasnt come along by then i suggest you go to the docs because it may be a thyroid or pituartary gland failure.
i didnt have cramps with my period until after i had an abortion. my periods were always pain free until then but now i have another thing to feel bad about because im reminded every month!
my sister doesnt have cramps either so dont worry it may just come out of nowhere. just make sure you take a pad with you wherever you go so your not caught out and so that your prepared.
good luck and stop worrying about it because this will delay your period!
your body just might be a slower developer. don't worry if you hit 16 and still don't have it i would say go get it checked out. otherwise youre fine =D
You're fine...enjoy your time without out. It'll come eventually and you'll remember fondly the days before you got it.
I've known of girls who didn't get it until their late teens...if there's concern, your Mom can always take you to the doc to see if there is any medical reason holding it off, but I really wouldn't worry about that yet.

The dr. says if a girl hasn't gotten her period by the age of 16 she should be evaluated by a dr. You are only 15, so you still have time. Try not to worry about it.
i think average is 12-14. but it is seriously no big deal if you haven't gotten it yet. it just comes later for some ppl. however if you turn 16 and still don't ve it you need to see a doctor.

What are you worried about? It varies in all women. Do you realised that your periods is the start of 40 years of misery.
Dont worry, you will definitely get it, the universe is not that kind.
I have never heard of anybody who has not gotten it. Does your mother realise that when you get it it will mean that you could possibly get pregannt if you make bad choices.... .
I wouldn't be too worried if I was you. My mom didn't get her period til she was 16 and I got mine when I was 12 so genetics doesn't necessarily determine the age you get it. Consider yourself lucky! Once you get it you'll hate it. Don't worry yet, it'll come. If it doesn't in a couple years you can talk to your doctor and they can make sure everything is normal with you or if there's something causing your period not to come such as a hormonal imbalance. If you're really concerned right now you can talk to your doctor about it next time you're there.
If you haven't gotten your period yet, then expect it until you're 16. If you don't get it then and turn older than 16 then you should go check it out at the doctor (get a female doctor JIC) becuase there might be something wrong in there or you might have a body problem or you might have an abnormal function in your body.
Try not to worry about it, I didn't get mine until I was 15. I know it's worrying when most other girls have started already but some people develop earlier than others. Enjoy the freedom while it lasts :)
