A friend of mine had it about 5 years ago, and she's been SO much happier since then. She did it on an out-patient basis (in at 6am, home by 4pm) and with only one treatment her periods went from 10 days of debilitating bleeding and cramps to 2 days of spotting.

Good luck...I hope you have as much success.
I had an ablasion done about 17 years ago. I was having really heavy periods lasting for several weeks at a time. Once I had it done, it was one day outpatient, things got so much better! My periods stopped altogether!! It has been great ever since!! Good luck to you!!
simple outpatient procedure, I didn't need any pain medication afterward
