How do I avoid crying?
Question:
I'm going to visit my parents today and I wont see my husband for a week, I know I will definitely cry at the airport. That's annoying!! but I can't stop myself.
I always try to think about somethimg else but it doesn't work! help please
Answers:
So what's wrong with it???
I may be a guy that thinks it's really stupid and that's a guy thing. (sorry) But why worry about it. (It sounds kinda cute) Don't tell I said that!! (Another guy thing)
Be yourself, hay I wish my wife cried when I was getting on an airplane. Seeing her doing cart wheels down the hall as my plane leaves the gate is a lot worse.
You may grow out of it, if not bring some Kleenex!
There's nothing wrong with crying when saying bye to someone you love.
Just let it flow... don't fight it it is really healthy for you.
It's normal to cry. Just let your feelings out and your conchance in. You just have to control the emotions.
to me its impossible that is your emotions turning on there is no why you could turn it off its a way of letting people know how you feel.
Okay. Sometimes you have to accept the fact that you are the way you are. You are probably an emotional person. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with that. However, to answer your question, what I always do is no matter how sad I feel. I kinda beat myself up. Like I will say 'do not under any circumstances cry. you know everything is going to be fine. be strong. you WILL make it through this.' I kinda make it about me rather than the situation that's going on. You may have to give yourself a stern talk. Otherwise, like I said do not be ashamed to show your emotions.
Stop thinking about leaving your husband (if thats what your crying about) and think about how nice it's goning to be to see your parents (if you like your parents that is). Besides, it's ony one week, you could be away a lot longer than that. You can call him anytime if you really miss him. It's not like your never going to see him again. OR... if your looking for something to physically distract you from crying try listening to music or reading a book, magazine, or news paper. (P.S: It's OK to cry as long as your not hysterical :-).
I have the same problem. Everything sad makes me cry, whether it is something I am reading, watching, thinking, doing, or talking about. I recently went back to my home state to visit my family. When I had to say goodbye and leave, I literally sobbed for an hour straight. Once I could breathe again, every time I thought about about it, I started crying again. Nine hours later (we were still driving) I was breaking down and crying. Sometime I think I am at a weak point in my life and am just extremely emotional. My eyes are tearing up thinking about when I had to leave. I know what you are going through.it's hard. I wish I had a solution though!
let it come
