it's affected by a variety of things. have you been eating less? working out more? stressed out more than usual? all this stuff will make you skip a period. pretty much, any major change in your lifestyle will affect it. this happens to many women, don't worry.

Stress, change in eating habits or exercize habits, you're on the pill (that'll do it), or just that your cycle is changing. It can happen from time to time.
