Personally I think its just that your changing cycles...it happens every few months
Are you exercising a lot? Are you thin? Are you stressed out? These things can all screw it up.
If you've had it for about 10 years you're at least 21 so if you haven't already you should probably visit an OBGYN. I'd ask him/her about it.
edit: its recommended that all sexually active girls or girls over 21 see a gynecologist yearly for pap smears (to avoid cervical cancer)
It could happen when stressed or exercising to much or when you are dieting to much.
well this has happened to me once before but in the middle of the 2 month i got my period i usely hate getting my period cuz of the cramps but this time i was so happy :D
you can also stop your period if you are losing weight or exercising alot
You need to see your doctor. You may have a ovarian cyst or a uterine fibroid. If not if you say you are sure your not pregnant base on the urine tests, you need a blood test. Sometimes the hormone HCG is not high enough to be picked up in urine yet.
Nothing, sometimes the periods beciome even more irregular, you may want to make sure yo are taking a vitamin pill every day, that you are not getting too stressed out, stress will knock period out of wack, but if you are still not sure, and you have an advise nurse with your medical insurance, call her and ask.
The number one answer to this is stress but there could also be a hormonal imbalance. Since your cycle can be so fical, it is hard to pin point what could be the cause.
Your doctor has several choices for diagnosing the cause of amenorrhea (absence of period). He can do a progestin challenge with 7 to 10 days of medication to see if it triggers bleeding. This will tell him if menstruation stopped because of a lack of estrogen. Thyroid disease and pituitary disorders can be determined by blood testing.
How absence of menstruation is treated depends on the cause. The treatment can be as simple as lifestyle changes (diet, exercise, stress reduction, or can include hormone replacement therapy, as well as other medications when appropriate.
If you have any of the following symtoms then see your doctor right away
Headaches
Hair loss
Vision changes
Breast secretions or milk production
unless you been rydin horses, you probb pregnant! =\
