What Will I See at 5 to 6 week Ultrasound Scan ??

hiya i am off 2nite to own a ultrasound as i have previously have a miscarriage and i had 1 time spotting pinkish stuff later nite so they are taking me in 2night for an ultrasound = i suppose i am about 5 - 6 weeks !
what will i see at the ultrasound ?
which 1 is more clear at this stage - internally or externally ? which 1 will they do because my boyfreind is coming too and would perceive a little embarrased to do internally when he is at hand lol even though he has see it all up to that time

Answers:    5.5 weeks-Gestational sac can be see seen
The yolk sac which is a source of nutrients for fetus can also be come across.
The embryo will be only 3 mm isize.
Fetus is too small to see this precipitate in pregnancy.
6 weeks- A fetal heartbeat can be see during the scan
Scans may be performed within the first trimester to:
Confirm a normal pregnancy
Assess the baby's age
Rule out abnormality, such as ectopic pregnancies or potential for miscarriage
Assess the baby's heart
See if there are multiple pregnancies
Identify abnormality of the placenta, uterus, and other pelvic structures
