yeah you can..how will you know if that's the month you ovulate? how would you know if you were pregnant if you don't know when your period is due. you could be pregnant for months before you even knew.

you can probably still get pregnant. You can get pregnant if you are ovulating and since your periods are so irregular you'll never know when you are ovulating! Use protection! You may want to think about birth control. I went on it when i was a teenager to regulate my periods. It helped a lot...and you cramp less and PMS less too!
You absolutely can get pregnant even during months when you don't have your period.
Have you talked with your Dr about why you skip several months at a time like that? Are you very athletic, underweight or overweight? Having had yoru period for 3 years, it seems that you should be more regular than that.
But anyway, yeah. I've known people who got pregnant when they hadn't had a period for a couple of months.

A lot of people (not doctors) will tell you if you don't have your period, you can't get pregnant. Doctors will tell you that although it is unlikely, it can happen. When I was trying to conceive my daughter I was very irregular. I had skipped my period in the beginning of July, but she was conceived about 2 weeks later. I took a pg test at the end of the month, but I was too early in the pregnancy for it to work, and the doctor had given me meds to bring on my period. When they didn't work, I took another test. By that point, I was 6 weeks along.
You may still see signs of ovulation (thicker discharge) even if you're not having your period. But without a period, you may have a hard time telling if you're fertile, so always use protection just to be safe.
