Pregnancy...Is it possible?

Last year my husband and I found out that I was pregnant. To trade name a long story short, I gave birth hasty (22 weeks) to a stillborn boy in March. Since after I've been on the birth control pill until we are both in position to try again. However, last month, I missed a couple of days(of the medication), and when bringing this up beside my doc, she told me to take the days that I've missed adjectives at once, but to also be "extra careful" when being intimate next to my husband. Well, for the last couple of days I've be feeling sort of 'sick' and tender surrounded by my breasts (similar if not like peas in a pod to when I was pregnant final time). My question is, is it possible to find out if I'm pregnant, though I'm still on the birth control and could still possibly obtain my period? And, any other suggestions or recommend?
