How can I find when my period is coming this month?

Question:
I'm 16 and I have had my period since i was 14. I don't know when it is coming this month cuz I just really am tired of having to write down the last day i had my period. Am so sick of it. Is there anyway to find out when it is coming I start school monday and really don't want to have it the frist day. Also am I counting it right I have a 28 day thing I start counting the frist day after am done with my period. I really hate having it.

Answers:
Sick of it or no, it is a major factor in your life. It is your decision whether to keep up with it or not, but to be on the safe side, it is best you do keep up with it. Believe me, you will miss it when it is gone.

example:

Your period starts on August 1, 2007. Using Aug. 1st as the 1st day of your cycle, count up 28 days, which would bring you to August 28, 2007, which would be the next expected date of your cycle. (You don't count the last day of your period as the first day).

If you cannot remember the exact date, think back to events, did you go swimming, to a movie, or a party during your last period? If so, how many weeks ago was that? You can gauge it from there.
There is really no way to determine when your period is going to come.

I have had my period for 3 years and still it has not become consistent.

It can take years for your period to have it's own schedule.
All girls have there peroid and if you dont want it on the 1st day of school you can stop it. The only real way to know when its comming is to keep track.
Use an online tool like fertilityfriend.com to track your cycle. Most women on there are trying to conceive (trying to get pregnant) but it's a great free tool to use to keep track of your cycle even if you're not trying to get pregnant.
YOU CAN CALL THE PERIOD MAN TO FIND OUT!
Keeping track of your period only helps you. If you are on a 28 day cycle, you count 28 days from the FIRST DAY of your period and that's when you should start again. Since you are 16, your gyn doc can give you the pill that makes you have only 4 periods a year or even the birth control shot, depo ~ no periods when you're on depo.
Your cycles basically starts the first day of your period and goes to the day before your next period. It doesn't take much to just mark one day on the calnedar every month. At least that way you have a reference point every month.
You've still got a few more years of inconsistency to go through from the sounds of it.
well we are different girls and all girls bodies don't work the same well when i start to have my period my boobs get tender and they start to hurt and my stomach starts hurting more than usually and since you don't like your periods ask your parents for birth control and you want have a period for 3 to 4 months
If you get your monthly on the 1st then next time around it should be on the 28th, then after that it should be on the 26th, after that on the 24th. Since some months do have 31 days, all you have to do is add a day as leeway--meaning instead of the 24th, if the previous month had 31 days, it should be the 23rd. I usually just counted 30 days and thet meant that I didn't have to count. In order to estimate my cycle I wrote it down for 3 months to see if it was regular, then I learned to do this. @ weeks from the first day of the monthly, then substract 3 days and add 3 days, meaning from the 11th day to the 17th day after the first day of my cycle was the greatest chance to get pregnant---you'll have to get used to your monthly pattern in order to calculate that. In any case, write it down for 3 months to see if it always comes every 28 days or if it comes every 30 days and then you can easily estimate the next one by counting it by month--plus, if you calculate half of that plus/minus 3 days, you can also calculate when it it is the greatest likelihood to get pregnant.
