Planned Parenthood?
Question:
Answers:
yes you can. they will not tell your parents. the cost will depend on your income. normally, if you have no income it will be free, but depending on wehre you live it could be 5 - 20 dollars a month. they give you what ever you request. i think its pretty standard to give the pill with the circuluar dispenser (thats what they gave me) but my friend asked for the patch and they gave her that. at the first appointment they will probably want you to have a normal gyno exam, but they might let that go for one year.
Planned parenthood is awesome, defniitly go, you will be pleased. but plan on waiting for a while past your appointment time :) they are busy!
i think you may get the BC at a discount price if you are under 18 but i would call your local planned parenthood and ask a receptionist. you may also be able to aply for a pink card which earns you free( i think) checkups, etc. also, check the website for more help!
yes. They accept donations, if anything--which are cheaper than babies. They will give you whatever the dr. determines is best for your body. You can just walk in. It's all very easy- you should be proud for being proactive in your health.
They have many different kinds of birth control at Planned Parenthood. Yes, you can get the pill at your age. I'm not sure what they will charge you. It used to cost me $25 each pack.
First of all yes you can at 17. You'll have to fill out a lot of paper work. Also if you tell them you don't have a job and you live on your own you can get it for free! Hope everything works out for you!
