yeah blood can look brownish sometimes especially if its at the end of ur period and not as heavy...gross but true, lol tell her not to worry. if it keeps happening, worry but it's prolly nothin
Is she on the pill? It sounds like it is break-through bleeding to me.
If she just ended her period it was probably the very end of her period blood which can be brown when its all dead and mashed up.
Blood is my guess, but if she keeps getting it when not on/around her period she should see a doctor.

Don't worry, it's perfectly natural to spot a little even after you stop bleeding. I freaked the first time too, but it's normal. It will happen less as she gets older.
yep more then likely it was a clot.. has happen to me yrs ago too.. yes periods can be off red to brown too..
dont freak out, its just the end of her period thats all. somethimes it does that toward the very end. its just dried up blood , thats all.
Brown stains can be older blood that is finally coming out. It is normal - especially if periods are a bit irregular. If there is pain or its coming out between her periods or she has other symptoms, then she should check it out but you said it was right after her period ended & didnt describe anything else unusual so it sounds like normal stuff. 'brown' indicates old blood. If she just finished her period, it's probably left over from that. That's why they have pantiliners to wear right before and right after your period-not a big deal. Now if it was actually 'flowing' out, that may be cause for concern and she should see a Dr. but a small 'stain' is completely normal.
It was probably a poo stain! lol
