Question about Nuva Ring?

Question:
have been on Nuva Ring for about 7 months and I have noticed that this month I have begun to spot some brownish red looking stuff . It's never happened before and I still have another week before I am supposed to take out the ring. What could this mean? It can't be my period could it? My doctor's office is closed today and I will call tomorrow, but if anyone has any clue I'd really like to know. and do i just keep it in till next week when im supposed to usually take it out for my period?

Answers:
That is odd. If you are using it continously it could be spotting. I wear each one for 3 weeks but do it continously for 3-4 months. Supposedly I could do it indeffinately, but it seems, that after 3-4 months my body decided to have a period with or without me. If I wait and take it out when it is supposed to come out I will spot forever!, so I take it out then, leave it out for a week and put a new one in...
If this isin't your case, I have no idea. Older blood is usually reddish brown, but assuming your period was 3 weeks ago, I have no clue why you would be seeing it now. Have you had sightly rough sex lately? Sometimes that can cause a minor tear without you knowing it.yup, I'm all out of ideas...best of luck!
