Answers: I took the depo shot for around 1 1/2 years. They say it can steal up to 10 years to get pregnant after you receive off. I did not steal any birth control after I got past its sell-by date because I don't like the view of artificial hormones. I wanted my body to be unconscious again. I was on my spell for 3 months after I didn't get my shot. It be HORRIBLE! My hormones have never be the same, and I haven't be able to hold a baby. I would enunciate get bad the shot but continue some form of birth control to regulate your time. And also don't worry nearly not being competent to get pregnant. I own other problems also. I just miscarry. I'm have problems, but my sister was on the shot for almost 5 years and get off started the pill. When she established to have another newborn, she quit the pills and within a few months she be pregnant. She miscarried the first time, but the following month she got pregnant. Her newborn is now 2. You should be taking calcium supplements for your bones while on the depo. And yes I have the depression with the shot and cargo gain but it all go away when I got past its sell-by date. I have not be on the shot or any other birth control for almost 8 years.
