How do you deal with your period in high school?

Question:
when do you change your pad/tampons? I just started mine today and I start school in 2 days and I really don't know what to do. how do you girls deal with your periods if ur in high school?

Answers:
Wear a tampon and a pad together, to prevent leaks and so that you don't have to worry so much about changing the tampon frequently. You can just change your tampon once during the school day, like at lunch time. You can carry extra supplies in your backpack and you can also consider getting Tampax Compact tampons that are small enough to fit in your pocket but expand to a full size applicator when it's time to use them. Good luck.
if you have time in between classes then you can go to the bathroom but you will be fine i promise
wow you start school in two days? anyway... when you get your period you just use the bathroom like maybe sometime before lunch... at lunch and sometime before the day is over. all you do is either bring your back bag in the bathroom with you or put your stuff in your pockets... if that doesn't work because you don't have any just bring a pocketbook to school. all of those things are normal for the girls in high school. you have nothing to worry about... (also if you get bad cramp just take advill or some other pain medicine before you leave for school)
dont use tampons cause then you'll have to change every other hour make sure u wear shirts that cover your booty lol just incase u leak. i use to wear either long cute shirts. or baggy sweats and a matching cute tight shirt good luck
um i think the same way u do in middle school.
but u get more freedom in highschool, or at least in my school, and u have more opportunities to change ur pad/tampon
You change them when you want, anytime you go to the bathroom, anytime between classes. Most girls have started by the start of high school (I can't say all.I didn't start until I was 18 and out of high school) so you're not alone out there! I know you feel like EVERYONE knows you're on your period, but they really don't unless you tell them.
