They say the recommended age to check for breast cancer using mammorgrams is about the age of 40 right? So how would they be able to find breast cancer in someone the age of 18. I'm 18 and I'm really worried about having breast cancer and doctors not being able to detect it. So how can they detect breast cancer without a mammogram? My question may be confusing sorry. But I'm REALLY worried.

you can have a mammorgram at any age and trust me even though you are only 18 .go to the doctor and have them check it out. this not something you play around with.good luck.
18 is not the age for getting breast cancer. What you have got is a fibroadenoma which is common in yr age group. Get rid of yr cancerophobia and continue living your life. As regards fibroadenoma breast (also known as breast mouse) you can ignore it if it is less than 3 cms.
